Film ‘Fight Girl’ (2018) and Inspirational Panel Discussion
Forum MNE, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, organized a screening of the Dutch film Fight Girl (2018) on December 3, in the premises of KIC Budo Tomović. The film follows the powerful story of a young girl who finds inner strength through kickboxing, delivering a message of resistance, the fight for equality and the empowerment of women and girls.

After the screening, a panel discussion was organized with two exceptional women from the world of sports: Zorica Kostičić and Marijana Goranović. Their stories of courage, overcoming obstacles and the importance of women’s presence in sports inspired the audience. Participants had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the role of sports in the fight against gender-based violence.

Martial Arts Workshop with S4D Methodology
Regional kickboxing champion Lea Boshevska organized an inspiring martial arts workshop. It was held on December 7th in the Morača Sports Hall, where a martial arts workshop was organized for 25 young people aged 14 to 16. Using Sport for Development (S4D) methodology, the workshop enabled participants to explore the topic of gender equality through sport, develop self-confidence, solidarity and skills to overcome challenges. The focus was on connecting sports activities with the values ​​of equality, respect and non-violence.

This project, called Breaking Down Barriers, organized with the cooperation of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, is part of the global campaign 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. The goal of the project was to raise awareness of the importance of empowering women and girls and to encourage youth to activism and solidarity through sports and culture.
