Forum MNE organized the final national conference on July 11, 2023 as part of the project My Career from Zero to Hero.

The event, titled NEET which connects us brought together more than 70 participants, representatives of relevant institutions, civil society organizations, the business community and young people.

During the conference, we presented the achieved results and announced new activities in the field of youth employability. Within a panel that gathered relevant stakeholders, discussions focused on the current situation regarding NEET young people and the importance of multisectoral collaboration. Additionally, the event included final project evaluation activities.

As part of the project, Forum MNE, with the support of the European Union and the Ministry of Public Administration, donated 20 laptops to organizations and institutions that gather a large number of young people and contribute to enhancing the employability of young people from vulnerable categories in Montenegro.

The laptops will be available for use by all young people, and we believe they will help them improve their knowledge and skills. The organizations/institutions that received the donated laptops are listed below:

Over the three years of project implementation, “My Career from Zero to Hero” supported six organizations, conducted two six-month courses with 70 young people through more than 1630 hours of direct work, resulting in a 38% employment rate for the participants. Additionally, we have created 12 video tutorials, organized two job fairs with 70 employers, involved over 250 stakeholders in Montenegro, and developed 12 business ideas through entrepreneurial skills course.

These are just some of the figures that marked the project, and we would like to express our gratitude once again to all stakeholders for their support and trust.

The event is part of the regional project “My career from zero to hero- Strengthening networks of Western Balkan CSOs to implement one-stop-shop youth employability model for future jobs of 4.0. digital revolution”, implemented in Montenegro by Forum MNE in cooperation with the Centre for Youth Work (Serbia), CEM (BiH), TOKA (Kosovo) and YSC (Albania), with financial support from the European Union and the Ministry of Public Administration.
