(De)polarized youth in Montenegro

The overall aim of this project is to support the country’s efforts in reducing vulnerability and increasing youth resilience against all forms of violent extremism.

Specific objectives:

SO1. Improve the understanding of the conditions and factors of youth radicalization which may lead to violent extremism;
SO2. To support the design and implementation of tailor-made and youth-related P/CVE policies and actions through evidence-based research;
SO3. Contribute to curricular and extracurricular youth related measures in preventing and countering violent extremism.

Starting date and duration of the project
October 1, 2024 – February 28, 2026; 17 months

Activities will be designed in detail based on the research findings and in cooperation with local youth services, local authorities, and young people and in close consultations with NOT, CDT and Ministry of Youth and Sports. They may include workshops, lectures, art activism events, community leader talks, and similar.
